How it works?
From probe to app, everything connects.

How it works?
An efficient and reliable communication chain. The sensor detects, the eEATBOX analyzes, the app informs you, you close.
1. The probe detects
Hot dish in cell, probe inserted in core: the sensor spots the start of the cycle and memorizes temperature and duration.
2. The eEATBOX analyzes
It receives data from the probe and transmits them in real time to the app. The cycle is tracked continuously.
3. The app informs you
Cycle complete or problem detected: the regulatory check is recorded and you are notified immediately.
4. You close
You indicate the cooled dish, it's archived. A non- compliance? You justify it, the important thing is to be aware.
A unique solution.
Zero connected alternative.
Automatic cycle detection
Tracking alarms during the cycle
No interruptions in your tasks
Human error detection
Installation without technician
Data storage minimum 2 years
Total hygiene compliance

Frequent questions about the eEAT cooling cycle tracking probe
What is the fundamental difference between this eEAT connected probe and classic temperature sensors for cold rooms?
The difference is major and concerns the very objective of the measurement. Classic connected sensors (like those from eEAT) are used for storage monitoring: they verify that the storage temperature remains stable (e.g., +4°C) in cold installations.
Our cooling cycle tracking probe, however, is dedicated to the validation of dynamic thermal processes. It automatically detects the start and end of a rapid cooling cycle in the cell. It measures the real thermal inertia of your dish (from +63°C to +10°C for example) to prove that the temperature drop respected the regulatory curve within the expected duration, which a simple storage probe cannot do.
Why is it crucial to automate rapid cooling with eEAT rather than recording it manually?
Rapid cooling is one of the most critical and risky HACCP points in the kitchen. An error can lead to significant bacterial proliferation. Automation via eEAT eliminates three major risks:
- Human risk: A manual reading depends on the cook's memory. If they forget to note the starting temperature or the end time, the legal proof is void.
- Risk of late discovery: Manually, you risk noticing the cooling failure when it is too late. With eEAT, you receive an immediate SMS alert if the drop is too slow, allowing you to restart the cooling and save the goods.
- Unalterable proof: A continuous and unalterable recording of the cooling curve avoids any debate during a hygiene inspection.
How does the eEAT probe automatically detect the start and end of the cycle without human intervention?
Our algorithm analyzes in real time the temperature curve transmitted by the remote probe inserted into the product core. It identifies the characteristic thermal signature of cooling: an initial rise (placement in cell) followed by a rapid and continuous drop.
As soon as the slope of the curve indicates a significant slowdown below a certain threshold (e.g., 10°C), the system automatically closes the cycle. You have no button to press: the probe "understands" that the process is finished and records the compliance data.
Does the eEAT probe replace the temperature readings of my storage cold rooms?
No, it complements them. This product is specifically designed to validate your production cycles (rapid cooling, but also pasteurization or low-temperature cooking if configured).
For static storage (maintaining at +4°C or -18°C 24/7), our enclosure monitoring sensors remain the ideal solution. However, this new probe completely eliminates the need to manually monitor the critical cooling phase, which is a major source of non-compliance during inspections.
What happens technically if the cooling cycle fails (drop too slow)?
This is where your food safety lies. If the algorithm detects that the core temperature is not dropping fast enough to comply with regulations (e.g., drop from +63°C to +10°C in more than 2 hours), the system immediately triggers a critical alert.
You receive an SMS or email signaling the ongoing non-compliance. This allows you to intervene (check the cell, divide portions, restart cooling) before the product becomes toxic, transforming a major health risk into a manageable operational incident.
Is the eEAT solution compatible with all types of cooling cells and dishes?
Yes, the solution is universal. The remote probe adapted for the food domain is designed to be inserted directly into the core of any product.
The main sensor communicates wirelessly (long-range technology) with the eEATBOX, which works perfectly even inside shielded metal cells that often block Wi-Fi. No wiring is necessary, and the sensor is dust and moisture resistant.
With eEAT, how are cooling data presented during a health inspection?
During an inspection, the inspector does not ask "what is the temperature?", but "prove to me that your coolings are controlled".
With eEAT, you open the app and present the cycle history. For each dish, the system displays:
- The entry and exit temperature of the cooling.
- The precise timestamps of the total duration.
These reports are unalterable and automatically stored for the required legal duration (minimum 2 years) securely on our servers in Switzerland. This is a proof of control far superior to a manual logbook often incomplete.
Can I use the eEAT connected system for other thermal processes than cooling?
Absolutely. Although designed for rapid cooling, the cycle detection logic is adaptable. We can configure the probe to validate cycles of:
- Pasteurization (temperature rise and holding).
- Sous-vide cooking.
- Freezing.
The system will automatically record temperature data and alert in case of non-compliance with defined parameters, thus centralizing all your critical process validation in a single tool.
Does the eEAT probe require a professional installer or complex maintenance?
No, simplicity is at the heart of the design. No technical intervention is required for cycle validation: once the probe is inserted, the process is fully automated and reliable.
Regarding maintenance, batteries must be changed manually every 2 to 3 years, a simple operation that does not require particular technical skills.
How is the eEAT solution more economically advantageous than a simple probe thermometer?
The comparison is not about the price of the tool, but about the cost of risk.
- Classic thermometer: Gives you instant information that you must interpret and note (risk of human error). In case of inspection with missing or inconsistent readings, sanctions can range from a warning to administrative closure.
- eEAT solution: Automates the process. It eliminates time spent on readings (about 1h/day) and guarantees legal compliance without effort.
The return on investment is often made in a few months by the time savings alone and the securing of your activity.
